Claremont, Calif. (September 18, 2023)—Pitzer College again appears in the rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report. In the category of Best National Liberal Arts Colleges, U.S. News ranks Pitzer at No. 39 among 204 colleges in a tie with Denison University, Kenyon College, Spelman College, and others.
U.S. News also ranks Pitzer at No. 76 for Top Performers in Social Mobility and at No. 85 for Best Value Schools.
In addition to U.S. News, Pitzer was also recently featured in Princeton Review’s “The Best 389 Colleges 2024.” For the second year in a row, Pitzer ranked at No. 1 in “Top 20 Best Schools for Making an Impact (Private Schools).”
Other Princeton Review categories in which Pitzer ranked in the top ten include: “Green Matters: Everyone Cares about Conservation” (No. 3), “Best Campus Food” (No. 4), “LGBTQ-Friendly” (No. 4), among others.
In Forbes’ recent annual college rankings, Pitzer is among the top 30 liberal arts schools nationwide and among the top 30 schools in the West. Forbes also ranked Pitzer at No. 115 out of 500 schools overall.
Pitzer also appears on the list of Washington Monthly’s 2023 Liberal Arts Colleges at No. 51.
